Drilling of Solar Powered Motorized Boreholes

This project involved the design, drilling, and full installation of solar-powered motorized borehole systems across multiple existing primary healthcare centres under the SURE-P initiative. The objective was to provide a sustainable and reliable water supply solution in healthcare environments where access to clean water is critical for sanitation, patient care, and operational efficiency. The scope included detailed site assessments, hydrogeological surveys, borehole drilling to optimal depths, installation of solar-powered submersible pumping systems, elevated water storage tanks, and distribution pipelines to key service points within each facility. Special attention was given to ensuring the systems could operate independently of unstable grid electricity, making them highly suitable for rural and semi-urban locations. Through this project, Blue Sea Services Limited demonstrated strong expertise in integrating renewable energy solutions into infrastructure development. The successful delivery significantly improved hygiene standards, reduced water scarcity challenges, and contributed to better healthcare outcomes across the beneficiary communities.
